ZPA, wanna know where the ‘A’ stands for?
We got our hands on practicly all the info on ZPA, so what is it gonna be like? What can you expect? Find all about it in this article!
The start
Ofcourse, there are two teams: survivors and zombies. But both have their own objectives and goals in ZPA. So to start of with: what do the survivors have to do?
Survivors
The survivors will have to complete one main objective. Which could be, for instance, getting into a place where there is an antivirus. First off, the humans don’t all spawn at one moment. No, they will spawn in waves. This will mean that the first group could go for the main objective.
Beside the main objective, there are also side objectives. How many there are of those depends on the map you play on, but it will most likely be around three side objectives. To win a round, the survivors don’t actually have to complete these side objectives succesfully. However, there are benefits to susccesfully doing them. The survivors will be granted supplies, in the form of weapons, ammo, health and armor.
There is an interval of 1 minute between the side objectives. These will also be given in a random order. For instance, a side objective is to close a door that leads to a zombie spawn. This side objective might be your first one in a round, but might also be the last side objective in a different round. In other words, you cannot run towards a side objective before it is given, to do it right away when it is actually given. This way the survivors won’t know to expect what.
Zombies
It is important to know that the zombies start without a carrier. However, side objectives can also be won by the zombies. Simply by preventing the survivors from completing them. If the zombies manage to keep the survivors from completing a side objective they will be granted with a carrier to the team. The more side objectives the zombies ‘win’, the more carriers they will have.
Ofcourse the humans can completely ignore the side objectives, but that way they will miss a lot of weapons, ammo and other supplies. Plus, they will have to fight more carriers.
Gameplay
The sizes of the teams will be automaticly balanced. In case of a clanfight, this is probably not necessary if these fight with 10 against 10 for instance. Also, based on the amount of players there will be given weapon rewards.
In the end, ZPA will require good co-ordination among both teams. The humans will have to co-ordinate who will help with the main objective and who should go for a side objective. While zombies will have to talk with eachother to make clear who will attack the main objective and who will attack a side objective. And how many people do you send or keep? This is something that requires leadership from some players, and also knowledge and experience of a map.
Maps
So far, there will be three ZPA maps in the upcomming 2.0 patch: Town, badbayou and Deadend. But ofcourse there are more to expect in the near future.
Zombie…Panic….ehm, A?
Oh yes! You are probably still wondering what the ‘A’ stands for. Don’t fix us on this, but we think we know. It is not all that exciting though, it’s just a name after all. But from what we know now it means: apocalyps. Now, if we might be wrong we just simply stay with Zebra Panda Alliance, al right?
