Survivor Speed

Be fast, be swift

In Zombie Panic, it is very important that you stay fast. Once you walk slow, you’ll become an easier target for the zombies after all. But not only that, you will also attract zombies when you’re heavy. Zombies rather chase slow than fast humans after all.

First way to stay fast

The first way to stay fast is easy: don’t pick up too much stuff. With every piece of wood, ammo or whatever you pick up; you become more heavy. Therefor: drop stuff that you don’t need or stuff that is basicly overkill. For instance: when you have a magnum and a rifle: drop your pistol. Or you might even want to drop your rifle or magnum as well. Sharing is not only fair and important, it also keeps you fast.

Action info
How to drop ammo: select with V and drop with T.
How to drop a weapon: press G.

Second way to stay fast

Even when you don’t carry a whole lot, you can still become awfully slow. How? you might wonder. Take a look at the left bottom corner of your screen ingame. You’ll see a little man there with a bar next to it. This bar indicates your amount of stamina. When you walk a lot, this bar will deplete, which means you become fatigued. You simply get tired of running all the time. So have an eye open when it comes to this bar, and keep it filled up.

Action info
Walk key: press ALT to walk. This will replenish your stamina.

ZP:S trick
When you press ALT you walk very slowly. If you manage to spam the walk button(s) (W,S,A,D), you tend to walk faster than in ALT mode, but you will still replenish stamina. Tricky, but handy.
